Paul Hamblin, the owner of Car Cool (formerly Rangiora Radiators located at 5 Grant Place, behind Repco’s on Rangiora’s High Street), is Rangiora born and bred.

About Paul:

Paul started his career as a panel beater, before moving into the fields of mechanical repairs, auto-electrical work and automotive air conditioning. In 2000, he joined Rangiora Radiators, where he specialised in radiators and cooling systems, eventually buying the business and, in 2017, renaming it to Car Cool, North Canterbury’s only automotive air conditioning specialist workshop. The name might be different, but the quality and service are still second to none.

Rangiora has a strong agricultural industry – it’s also home to the famous annual Muscle Car Madness Car Show – so Paul’s busy workshop caters to a variety of customers, with vehicles ranging from tractors to trucks, cars, motorbikes and everything in between. However, Paul’s extensive experience in the automotive trade means he can offer his customers honest, practical knowledge and advice about all aspects of vehicle servicing and maintenance, no matter what sort of vehicle they bring him.
